	The Cockpit The Cockpit - The Cockpit is Leeds' most successful live music venue, voted 'Launch-pad Venue of the year', by Radio One's Steve Lamacq. The Irish Centre This unassuming venue is probably the best place in Leeds to see a band. From Oasis to Elastica, Robert Cray to Curtis Mayfield, Donovan to John Martyn, John McLaughlin to the Brecker Brothers, they've all played here. The HiFi Club The HiFi Club is one of the most recent additions to the Leeds' club scene, having opened in October 2000. It offers an alternative to the city's vibrant dance music scene by offering a range of DJ led and live music nights based around jazz, funk, soul and hip hop. The Met "The Met" is one of the top live venue in Leeds, which is on one of the major tour circuits for all genres of live music. Joseph’s Well This friendly little venue has played host to quite a few Indie bands like Catatonia and Arab Strap, a secret gig by The Sisters of Mercy and most recently a surprise hometown gig by Spacehog.
