BUT this is one of the heaviest, most progressive albums to come from anyone in recent years. Dark, electronic productions that take as much influence from artists such as Burial as they do from the 'dirty south' create a stark, beautiful background for Gil's apocalyptic tones - this needs to be listened to properly. A real future classic - this is on the same sort of level as Johnny Cash's 'American Recordings'.
