The Columbus Memoirs is the third album from Nick Toczek and Signia Alpha. The fluid line-up of Matt Webster’s Signia Alpha features many of the same musicians as on their previous two albums. Paul Gray (The Damned, Eddie & The Hot Rods, UFO, etc) contributes his distinctive Rickenbacker bass to four of the ten tracks. They include the driving post-punk opener The Hour Glass. On this, Webster trades one-liners with Toczek on the verses and sings the chorus alongside singer-songwriter-guitarist Harris (Chaing) who joins the line-up on this album.
