Debut album from Ireland's pre-eminent punk/noisy, alt-rockers Gurriers. Recorded in Leeds at the Nave with Alex Greaves, Come and See explores many themes, be they the end of the world, the disenfranchised youth of Dublin, emigrant friends, the rise of the far right, desensitisation to violence, a pope struggling with belief and love amongst other things. Four previous self released singles, the last of which 'Des Goblin' was A-listed on BBC 6 Music as well as Radio 1's Jack Saunders 'Tune Of The Week'. Come And See not only includes songs of raging intensity but equally brilliant song-writing, the record includes the singles 'Des Goblin', 'Nausea', 'Sign Of The Times' and a new definitive recording of 'Approachable'. The band have built a formidable reputation as one of the best live bands around gigging constantly all over Europe the last two years playing the likes of 2000 Trees, Pitchfork Music Festivals, Latitude, Simple Things Festival in the UK and Electric Picnic, All Together Now and Other Voices Festivals in Ireland. They will be playing Dot To Dot Festival in Bristol and Nottingham in May plus End Of The Road and Manchester & Edinburgh Psych-Fest's before the album release then set off on a 33 date tour through October and November.
