BLYTH POWER were formed in 1984 by singer and drummer Joseph Porter, formerly of Zounds and The Mob. Forty-odd years later they are still surprising audiences with their evolving blend of folk and punk rock. Joseph, Annie, Ben, Dion & Hugo are celebrating the Summer solstice by returning to their favourite Leeds venue after a two-year absence.
THE METATRONS are from Hitchin. They make fuzzy riot-pop guitar music that will make you feel all tingly. Polly is the singer, Rico is the bass player, Steve is the drummer and Simon plays the guitar. We’re delighted to be hosting their debut at Wharf Chambers.
THE LOST SQUIRRELS are Harry, Peter, Gilbert and Finlay, West Leeds teenagers who combine catchy choruses, bouncy guitar riffs and downright bizarre subjects in a beautifully eccentric manner. This is their first time at Wharf Chambers too - although you may recognise singing-drummer Peter from his other band, Indignation Meeting.
